The 2018 Academic annual meeting of China Society of Cryospheric Science was held successfully in Foshan on November 17–18,2018

摘要：On November 17–18,the 2018 Academic Annual Meeting of China Society of Cryospheric Science was held successfully in Foshan City,Guangdong Province.In the context of global warming,the cryosphere is undergoing significant changes and has major impacts on global and regional ecosystems and socio-economic sustainability.In order to further promote the development process of China's cryosphere science,strengthen the exchanges between scientific research personnel in different sectors and fields,further condense the scientific research team of the cryosphere science,explore the new development directions of the cryosphere science,and promote the cryosphere science giving better service for sustainable development of social economy,the Chinese Cryosphere Science Society organized this academic annual meeting,this is the third annual meeting since its establishment.The theme of the conference was"Cryosphere and Sustainable Development in the Context of Global Change".Nearly 300 academicians,experts and scholars from the fields of climate change science,cryosphere science and resources and environmental sciences gathered at Foshan to discuss the major strategic needs.
